Well today is an appropriate day for me to be posting the February Jams, since it is a rare day that the US Women will be logging two consecutive workouts on the erg while at camp in San Diego. The rain is pouring down and the wind is blasting away outside making our little lake look more like the ocean, but I’ve got these tracks to keep me cranking out the Km’s — and now you do too. You’ll notice a few regulars… the 1975, the Knocks (together in one track), Bit Funk, the Chainsmokers, Plastic Plates and Chromeo… but February is still looking fresh and feeling fun. For the nu-disco lovers, you’ll be set to boogie to some more Knocks and –if you wait for it– the Black YaYa track transforms into a funky disco-groove powerhouse at 1:30. The indie rockers should be happy with the Limousines track – one I’ve had in my back pocket for a while but haven’t posted yet… along with a little dreampop track from Niva and the non-embeddable “Wild” from RoyalTeeth showcasing some of the most amazing vocal harmonies I’ve heard in a while [listen HERE]. House ravers: you will be happy with the Mako track, and let me know what you think of the Fukuyama track – it’s something a little different from six crazy Japanese guys producing out of Norway. And to finish up, just for fun I’ve included the ridiculous “#SELFIE” from the Chainsmokers that will bring you back to the days when LMFAO ruled the airwaves. Stay dry, and rock on.
Don’t forget: Soundcloud has an awesome mobile app you can use to play Workout Jams anywhere.
