Or also known as “The Susan Francia and Meg Walsh Show”.
This year, the women’s National Team was fortunate enough to spend seven weeks at the ARCO Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. During that time, we rowed on beautiful Otay Lake, did some land training, and harassed the Training Center training room staff continuously.
We’ve been back in Princeton for almost two weeks now, attempting to row singles (unsuccessfully) in order to prepare for NSR I. After day 5 of rowing in a balaclava, two long sleeves, wool socks, a vest, tights and pogies, we are definitely California dreaming.
