On Saturday, we had a grand old time in standard USRowing fashion at the Caspersen Boathouse for our annual meet and greet.  We got our gear packages, hung out with our visiting Iraqi friends, and chowed on some delicious BBQ food.  The W4X apparently made an impression on our visitors, as we got a cheer from the Iraqi corner when they announced our names on the roster.  I got to meet Natalie’s parents, who made the trip up for the weekend from Baltimore, and talked to Karen about making her first trip to a FISA event–in New Zealand!  See you there!
